What does Confidenceintheclassroom.com provide?

Through a series of links, articles, videos, blogs, and much more, it is our goal to provide support, guidance and most importantly, build the confidence of educators and educatees around the world.

Why is it important to have confidence in a classroom?

Studies show that learners who are feeling more confident are more motivated to try, ask questions, and challenge themselves. Feeling confident has the potential to create study habits that will benefit the learner in higher education. This all makes sense; if you are feeling confident in a subject or field of study, wouldn’t that make you more motivated to not only succeed but also try (knowing it is okay to be incorrect)?

Importance of confidence in teachers vs students:

As a teacher, confidence is vital to maintaining a successful classroom. You as the teacher can either make or break your classroom. Possessing a happy, colorful classroom shapes the way students learn, perceive information, and reciprocate a positive attitude. Upholding a sense of confidence as a teacher has a huge impact on the student’s learning. As for students, if they are feeling confident in their area of learning, it encourages their motivation to practice beneficial habits that will make them thrive in their higher education. This is why it is my mission to ensure that every teacher and student feels as confident in the classroom as they can possibly be.
